My Browser
Give a VibeGrow hosted task access to your real, signed-in Chrome. Your agent runs in the cloud, and this companion is the bridge that lets it read pages, navigate, click, and type in the browser you authorize.

Install it
The companion is not on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs as an unpacked extension. That means Chrome asks you to enable Developer mode, and you will need to re-download it to update.
- 01Download the My Browser companion ZIP using the button above.
- 02Unzip the release folder and keep it somewhere stable on your machine. Chrome reloads the extension from that folder every time it starts.
- 03Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked.
- 04Select the unzipped folder, then pin VibeGrow My Browser to your Chrome toolbar.
- 05Open your task at https://app.vibegrow.io, then go to Customize → Connectors → My Browser and choose Create pairing code.
- 06Open the companion from the Chrome toolbar, paste the code, and choose Connect this Chrome. Both screens show Connected.

While connected, an authorized hosted task can inspect pages, open tabs, navigate, click, and type in the Chrome profile you paired, including sites you are signed in to. Only pair a task you trust, and disconnect when it is done.
Connects only to VibeGrow
The companion trusts one address: VibeGrow's hosted coordinator. It refuses pairing codes that point elsewhere and will not connect to a local server.
Single-use pairing
Each pairing code works once and expires after 10 minutes. Nothing is shared until you paste a code you generated yourself.
Scoped to one task
A connection authorizes the one hosted task you paired. Browser tools appear only while the companion is live, and vanish the moment you disconnect.
Revoke at any time
Disconnect and revoke from either the extension or VibeGrow. Signing out also revokes browser access.
Permissions Chrome will show you
The companion requests access to read and change data on sites you visit, plus Chrome's debugger, tabs, and scripting APIs. These are what make real clicking and typing possible. Chrome shows a "debugging this browser" notice while a task is driving your browser, which is expected.
Built from the open-source pi-chrome browser executor, with its local-only transport replaced by VibeGrow's authenticated connection. This is not an official pi-chrome release.
